The Canada New Zealand Business Council (CNZBC) welcomes the return of Air Canada operated flights between Auckland and Vancouver. Additional, four-times-weekly seasonal flights non-stop to Vancouver and operated by Air Canada, commencing December 14th through to end of March 2020. Launch of the new service adds to Air Canada’s long-standing codeshare partnership with Air New Zealand on Auckland to Vancouver, non-stop route daily.
Conveniently, the seasonal service is scheduled to depart Auckland at a handy 2:40 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The 6:40am arrival in Vancouver is very helpful for connections at YVR’s hub, the Vancouver business day or to get same-day onto the local slopes.
NZ government sources report 71,000 Canadians visited NZ last year. The new service fosters business links as well as adding to tourism.
CNZBC is delighted the new service coincides with the CPTPP to which both countries are signatures, stepping up a notch.
